PROGRAM

Dr. Nate Maas

Principal

Delta High School

Dr. Nate Maas spoke to us about Delta High School and how it fills a void that other local high schools can't address. The continuation school helps “at risk” students that are struggling and gives them direction so that they can graduate in a timely manner. Credits are given to students that voluntarily attend at least 3 hours a day and pass their assigned subjects. The teaching staff help the Juniors and Seniors in their care to prepare them for life by focusing on attendance, behavior and academics. Allan Hancock College is also an obtainable goal for many graduating Seniors. All in all, Delta is a very positive experience for the majority of students who are enrolled and the future looks bright to all that apply themselves and focus on their education.
