Terri Stricklin
Terri spoke to us this morning regarding how she discovered Rotary and how it has turned into a very positive life experience. When she first heard of Rotary, she had no idea what that was. Shannon Seifert was her positive mentor as she joined the club and learned from her who we are and what we do. Not only does she love participating in our many events, but she also cherishes the many friendships that she has developed among our many members. In fact she considers us as a second family…..and “Family” is the main word that she chose to define her Breakfast Rotary membership.

THANK YOU TERRI.
WE'RE SO VERY GLAD TO HAVE YOU AS A VALUED MEMBER OF OUR ROTARY FAMILY !

PROGRAM

Shelley Klein

Curator

SMV Historical Society Museum

Our speaker this morning spoke to us about the beginnings of the Santa Maria Valley and our city which was established in 1890. Historical names like Bradley, Battles, Cook and Tunnel to name just a few , blazed a trail through our local geography. Pictures and maps were shown through her PowerPoint presentation to help us paint a picture as to what life offered the the local residents so many years ago. Rotarians are welcome to get a closer look at the local museum which is open Tuesday - Saturday 11:00 am - 4:00 pm. Thank you Shelley! We appreciate you joining us this morning.
